Petrophysical laboratory of "Uzbekgeofizika" JSC has been conducting research for more than 50 years. The main task was and remains to obtain objective information in the field of reservoir physics and substantiate the petrophysical and filtration-capacitance parameters of reservoir rocks for calculating the reserves of oil, gas and gas condensate fields.
To date, the laboratory is equipped with modern analytical equipment and software (Coretest Systems inc. (USA)), which allows studying the composition and properties of reservoir rocks both in atmospheric and reservoir conditions.
The quality of the services provided, the level of technical equipment and the long-term experience of the staff allow the Laboratory to cooperate fruitfully with organizations such as:
The laboratory, being a multidisciplinary unit, conducts analyses in the following main areas of activity:
- Cleaning and preparation of core samples for research
- Photographing the core in daylight and ultraviolet light
- Carrying out gamma-spectral and gamma-density logging on a full diameter core
- Determination of the bulk density coefficient
- Determination of the coefficient of mineralogical density
- Determination of the coefficient of open porosity by various methods.
- Determination of absolute gas permeability in parallel and perpendicular to bedding
