At the Palace of Congresses of Uzbekistan, the Committee of Family and Women held an award ceremony for the winners of the republican stage of the national competitions “Woman of the Year” and “Gender Equality Activist”. A group of women from Uzbekgeofizika JSC took part in it. In order to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men in the social, economic and political spheres, a gender-legal examination of each draft normative legal act adopted in the country has been carried out. It was noted that our state’s policy in the field of supporting women and ensuring gender equality is recognized by the world community.
