As a result of the consistent implementation of the tasks outlined in the State Program for the current year, the field crew of the “Turtkul Project” No. 06/24–27 of the “Bukhara Geophysical Expedition” branch of JSC “Uzbekgeofizika” has fully completed 2D seismic exploration works covering 600 linear kilometers.

Within the project framework, detailed seismic surveys using the UCHN–2D method were carried out in the Beshrik, Afshona, Sardoba, Gurlan, and Nurlio‘l areas — covering the Meshekli uplift of the Bukhara tectonic stage and its adjoining zones with the Khiva depression — in order to identify oil and gas promising structures in Jurassic and pre-Jurassic formations and prepare them for deep drilling.

The research was conducted using the “Progress-T3” telemetric system and AHV-IV heavy seismic vibrators.

The field crew of the “Turtkul Project” became the first within the company to complete its annual work plan, thereby increasing the efficiency of geological exploration operations.
