On November 6–7 of this year, an expanded joint session of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at “Uzbekgeofizika” JSC, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and “Uzbekneftgaz” JSC. The meeting focused on the current state and future plans of oil and gas geology, geophysics, and well-drilling activities in the Republic.

During the event, participants:
analyzed the work carried out from January to September 2025;
discussed measures to increase hydrocarbon reserves and resources;
reviewed expected year-end indicators and plans for 2026.

Experts from the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, “Uzbekneftgaz” JSC, “Uzbekgeofizika” JSC, and the “Institute of Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields” took part in the meeting, delivering presentations and exchanging views on urgent industry issues.

This gathering became a significant step toward improving geological exploration activities, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and identifying new promising fields.
