JSC “Uzbekgeofizika” has successfully completed field geophysical works under the 2025 State Program for the development and processing of the oil and gas mineral resource base.
A total of 6,500 linear km of 2D seismic surveys and 1,700 sq. km of 3D seismic surveys were carried out within the scheduled timeframes and with high quality.
The operations employed modern telemetric seismic systems such as Inova G3i (USA), Sercel (France), and Progress-T3 (Russia). The acquired geophysical data were processed using the Paradigm hardware and software complex from the Netherlands.
As a result of the field operations, five new gas fields — Moynoq, Orolbay, Zafarobod, Yangi Chuqurkol, and Cholnuri — were discovered this year from structures prepared for deep drilling.
These achievements contribute to the sustainable development of the country’s industry, the strengthening of its energy potential, and the rational use of natural resources.
