Sukhrob Khamrayev, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, held a critical review meeting at Uzbekgeofizika JSC.

During the meeting, it was noted that the current geological exploration activities do not fully meet modern industry requirements. Existing shortcomings related to increasing hydrocarbon reserves, expanding the use of advanced seismic exploration technologies, and improving operational efficiency were reviewed. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to accelerate reforms within the Company, strengthen its scientific and technical capacity, and fundamentally improve its management system.

It was also emphasized that the implementation of the priority tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the development of the Company's geological sector, the introduction of modern technologies, and the enhancement of the effectiveness of geological exploration activities are urgent priorities that require immediate action.

During the meeting, Shokir Jabborov, a highly experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, was introduced to the team as the newly appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekgeofizika JSC.

The new Chairman was assigned specific tasks to bring geological exploration activities to a new qualitative level, introduce modern management approaches and advanced technologies, accelerate efforts to increase hydrocarbon reserves, and ensure the timely and effective implementation of all assigned objectives.
