A working group led by A. Sanginov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz”, together with the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Uzbekgeofizika” and specialists from the Ustyurt Geophysical Expedition, reviewed ongoing operations at geological exploration, drilling and production facilities in the Ustyurt region.

The discussions covered the development of a new material and technical base, drilling infrastructure, ongoing well operations, road construction, and the next stages of field development.

It is particularly important to note that the seismic exploration activities carried out by specialists of JSC “Uzbekgeofizika”, along with the geological and geophysical data prepared on their basis, played a significant role in the discovery of the Qiziljar and Qoratau fields.

The team also reviewed work carried out at the new gas condensate field in the Qoratau area and at prospective exploration wells, as well as test results and upcoming tasks. Relevant instructions were issued to the responsible personnel to ensure that the work continues to the required quality standards and within the established deadlines.

These activities will contribute to identifying new hydrocarbon reserves in the Ustyurt region and further expanding the resource base.
