Advisor to the Minister of Mining and Geology N. Mukhutdinov and Chairman of the Board of Uzbekgeofizika JSC R. Yusupjonov made a working trip to the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

During the trip, the course of field seismic exploration and field geophysical work in the Ustyurt region was reviewed. Materials related to the increase in the mineral resource base of hydrocarbon resources of the Ustyurt region were studied, and appropriate instructions were given to responsible executors.

In 2023, in the Ustyurt region, field seismic surveys are being carried out on 6 projects. In January-May this year. the scope of work was completed 100% of the plan and amounted to 955 sq. km. 3D seismic survey, 1170 linear meters km. seismic exploration works 2D.
