The method of vertical seismic profiling is used for the determination of the speed of seismic wave propagation in geologic plastic, which is necessary for the processing and interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic materials, as well as for the identification of litho-facies properties.
In the framework of the state program of development and production of mineral-acid bases of oil and gas in 2023, branches of "Bukharskaya Geophysical Expedition" and "Amirabadskaya Industrial-Geofizicheskaya Expedition" JSC "Uzbekgeofizika" are conducting complex works of vertical seismic profiling (VSP) in wells Oltinkul-1 Kuyi Pamuk-2.
The work is carried out with the help of the modern high-precision complex AMTs-VSP-3-48, purchased in 2022, the introduction and operation of which allows registering high-quality and high-precision field material.
